baked donuts and donut holes

Basically, this recipe can also be used to make donuts though I do prefer Sally's Baking Addiction's for that purpose but if you don't have time and make a batch, why not make twice the amount and make both at the same time?

For about 24:

3/4 cup flour

1 Tbsp cornstarch

3/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 pinch of nutmeg

1/4 tsp salt

1 Tbsp butter, melted

1 egg, room temperature

1/4 cup vanilla-flavored sugar (my own addition to the recipe. Feel free to use regular white sugar)

1/4 cup milk

Simply use cakepop molds for this recipe. They're inexpensive and easily stored. Lightly brush the molds with oil.

Mix and bake in cake pop molds for 8 mn at 350°F. Unmold them and cool on a wire rack. If you, like me, only have one set of molds, wait a minute or so before filling the molds again with the rest of the batch.

Brush with melted butter then cinnamon and white sugar mixed or any kind of favorite glaze. (see cinnamon topping and glazing instructions for both donuts and donut holes)
