Welcome to Seasoned with Love
Food is magic!
I have to confess – I'm a foodie! I've cooked and baked for as long as I can remember. And it runs in the family. My grandmother, who raised me, had trained at the Cordon Bleu and taught me how to make my first apple tart when I was five. I love all kinds of food, so long as they're cooked from scratch.
My roots are in France but my heart is in the States, which brings me to this. I spent a lot of time translating recipes from both countries, adapting them and finding the right proportions and ingredients, for myself as for friends. It seems only fair to share them more widely.
In this blog, you will thus find French recipes and tips written in English as well as English or American ones translated into French, but also simple, healthy food I've tested and approved.
I also love writing and have included recipes in my FanFiction stories (Louise, Seasoned with Love & Life, with a little spice) featuring my original character, Louise, who incidentally is a cook ;) I have also included them here and added the photos.
