Oven Donuts and Donut Holes
Donuts are the joy of my existence. Add coffee and I'm in heaven. Thing is, you don't find good, fresh donuts in France so I endeavored to find the right recipe instead of whining about the lack of it. Here are the results of my findings.
I used to make old-fashioned donuts but recently discovered I could make lighter ones in the oven. Oh joy! And it's so simple, it's almost indecent. Sally's Baking Addiction was of great help in understanding how to make those. I also use her cinnamon topping as well as her maple glazing (my favorite). I then improvised with the other glazings, namely the vanilla and chocolate ones.
Of course, I could not NOT try and make donut holes as well. Ever since I saw those on Sleepy Hollow (the series) they've haunted my dreams. I can finally sleep at night, knowing in the morning, I'll have a full batch of those delicious temptations at my disposal. Sigh.
Invest in simple cake pop molds and donut molds for these recipes. They're quite cheap and so worth it as they serve several purposes. Basically, any batter can be used for the donuts though they would not be called donuts then. I didn't buy a cake pop and donut maker and am really glad I didn't. My molds are much cheaper and very convenient to store.

Ever since I saw those in Sleepy Hollow (the series, not the movie), I got obsessed with finding the right healthy recipe.
Warning: those are pure temptation. You pop one in your mouth and they're so light you think – why not take a second one and a third... Getting my drift? Don't forget they're easy to freeze and then thaw. In a nutshell, it might be wise to set some aside for thawing right away or you might end up eating the whole batch ;)

Light and easy. Melt in your mouth and you won't even feel guilty because let's face it - baking is much healthier!
