This is my kids' favorite and it's a true Christmas dessert. Sprinkled with confectioners' sugar, it looks like Christmas is already here.
You'll need a pie crust. Preheat your oven to 410°F and blind bake your shell for 10 minutes.
Then you'll need the following ingredients:
2 oz dark chocolate
1/4 cup unsalted butter
3 eggs
1 tbsp rum (optional)
1/2 cup white sugar
1/3 cup flour or 2 Tbsp cornstarch
4 oz chesnut spread (you buy it online)
confectioners' sugar
Melt the chocolate and butter. Add the eggs, sugar and flour, then the chesnut spread and rum
Put it in the shell and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Let it cool on a rack. Best prepared the day before and served with powdered sugar sprinkled on top of it.
Serves 6 to 8.
Bon appétit!
