Soft-baked Cookies

I saw those on my Instagram account the other day, complimentary of Sally's Baking Addiction (yes, her again!). I do have other recipes I often use but wanted to try something new. I know they say curiosity killed the cat but here, curiosity filled my heart with joy ;)
The recipe is made with cranberries and white chocolate. Feel free to use other ingredients and post your creations on Instagram or Twitter so I can see them.
3/4 cup butter, softened and creamed
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
2 tsp cornstarch
1 pinch baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 pinches salt
1 cup flour, sifted
3/4 cup white chocolate
3/4 cup cranberries
Beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add the egg then the dry ingredients and finally the chocolate and cranberries.
Do not overmix.
Chill for 2 hours then leave at room temperature for 15 mn.
Make cookies and bake on a baking sheet for 8 to 10 mn at 350°F.
Frozen cookie dough can be baked directly if cookies are already shaped for the same amount of time.
You can replace the white chocolate and cranberries with milk or dark chocolate, raisins or other dried fruit like blueberries.
