What can I say? I had just made butterscotch and was finding new way to use it. And I love biscoff. So good to dunk in coffee. Well, it's also great to give a different taste to the whipped cream traditionally used in trifles.
2 tsp butterscotch (homemade is always better – just saying!)
1 Tbsp applesauce
3 biscoff
2 Tbsp heavy cream
1 tsp confectioners' sugar
Crush the biscoff. Mix one tsp biscoff with the heavy cream and leave for half an hour. Pass the cream through a sieve and whisk with confectioners' sugar until stiff.
Alternate layers of whipped cream, biscoff, butterscotch and applesauce.
