This is very easy to make and will look enticing as a dessert. Flambé it in front of your guests and you will earnt heir respect once and for all!
half a cup flour
2 tbsp butter, melted
half a cup milk
3 eggs
one pinch of salt
orange marmalade
6 to 7 oz dark chocolate
half a cup heavy cream
(optional: orange liqueur for flambé)
To make the crêpes, start with the flour and salt then combine with the eggs, milk and butter. Beat until light and fluffy. You can separate the whites and yolks and add the whites, beaten at the end. It will be fluffier. Cook your crêpes in a greased pan. Crêpes are much thinner than pancakes and it only takes about a minute and a half to prepare one. As much as I'd love to do like my granny and flip them over, I usually play safe and just turn them over with a spatula.
Fill your crêpes with orange marmalade. Fold them.
Melt the chocolate with the cream and spread it while hot on your crêpes. Flambé with orange liqueur.
