This is Burj Dubai, the world's new tallest building. It towers more than 800m over the city of Dubai in the Middle East and will officially open its doors on Monday.

It's more than twice the height of the Empire State Building in New York, and will be used for luxury apartments.

The middle eastern city has lots of impressive buildings, but the Burj can be seen from 60 miles away!

The building is so tall, it's 10 degrees cooler at the top than at the bottom.
