Ever heard Americans talking about the pilgrims or Thanksgiving? Well it's all down to a ship that left England on this day 400 years ago.
On 16 September 1620, the ship called the Mayflower set sail from Plymouth - on board were more than 100 passengers all hoping to start a new life in America.

New e-twinning project for the 4th forms : Around Europe and beyond

Short description
Students virtually travel around Europe and to other countries too through listening to songs and reading some short literary text. Their travel will let them become aware of the richness of cultures around Europe while improving their language competence and digital skills.
Aims

To become aware we are EU citizens

To widen one’s cultural horizons

To improve the communication in foreign language
-
To improve the digital competence
Students’ age Countries
12-13 France, Italy and Norway

First Step : Song in the mother tongue about the UK or any other English speaking country or city
To celebrate 26th september the European Day of Languages
Students of each partner school explain the song in English through a video, powerpoint, drawings, etc … and give info on the singer with a quiz in English for their European friends
