Depuis le 1er satellite Russe Spoutnik, le 4 octobre 1957, plusieurs milliers de satellites ont ainsi été lancés autour de notre planète.
Le 1er octobre, la NASA a fêté ainsi ses 60 ans de conquête spatiale.
