Photodynamic Therapy
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is an
exciting new approach to cancer
diagnosis and treatment, using a
combination of oxygen, laser light
and a photosensitizer. PDT may be
thought of as specialized form of
chemotherapy in which the drug
(the photosenstitizer) is harmless
by itself. It’s an alternative to
chemotherapy
