Nowadays, it's difficult to differentiate what's real and what's not, in the newspaper. But, the newspaper it's a way to access what is going in the world. We can think about this question:Is it still possible to find reliable news today ?
First, the newspaper have duties like inform, check the source and reveal the truth. Some newspaper respect those duties , they try to give quality informations. Those newspapers deals with serious topic like businnes or politics news or international event. They are quality papers.
Although most of news papers respects the duties, other newspaper exploit the public's taste of scandal and intrude without hesitation upon people's private life. Those newspaper are tabloid. They use lies and libel to attract the audience.
Finally, on the Internet, it's possible to access at quality papers and tabloid. So it depend of you to choose the truth or the lies on the news.
To conclude, it's still possible to find reliable news, if we choose the better way to access at it.
The expension of the online press, thanks to the World Wide Web, is spuring a real problem: we dont' know if we can trust what we are reading anymore. We all are wondering: Is it still possible to find reliable information today ?
Firstly, to be pretty sure that what you are reading is true, you must check the source. Meaning that you have to check where it comes from. There are sites that guarentee the truth of their content, like well-known newspapers' website. For instance, we can take The New York Times's website. The New York Times is a serious and quality paper, so you can be sure that you have in front of you is the truh.
However, it is possible that a serious website believe something fake, a rumor, and immediately write an article about it because it seems real. But as soon as the rumor is proven false, the website have to writes an article about that, in order to apology and to deny what they've written previously. Let' take the example of BFM: At 9:00am, they write an article about Martin Bouygues's death. At 9:30, they deletde the article and denied the information. In fact, Martin Bouygues, a business man, is still alive.
To conclude, it is still possible to find reliable news nowadays, but you have to make sure that they come from a serious source. And even though it's a serious source, it is possible that the information isn't the truth, but if this happens, the information is denied as soon as possible, in order to avoid confusion. If you want real information, it is better to buy real newspapers because they spread the whole truth, daily.
Nowadays, we are sourround by a lot of informations. But, Is it still possible to find reliable information today? It depends on the media which you read, look or listen to.
First, if you read the information on a newpaper, it is generally reliable. Unless if you read a tabloid with gossip the informations are sometimes false. You can also read the informations on the web. If you go on the web site of the Time or The Guardian, the information are very sures. However, if you go on the web site unknown verified and it are false.
As a matter of fact, when you watch the news on the Tv, it's always reliable or the journalist warns that the information is not sure. Lastly, when you go to the work or to the high school, you can listen radio. If you listen Europe1 or RTL, we can be sure that the information are reliable. To conclude, The reliability of infomations depends of the suport where we take informations.

Nowadays, there are several types of presses : printed, oline and TV; but with this multiplication of medias we maybe lost quality. We can ask ourselves if it's still possible to find reliable information today.
First I think we still can trust informations when it's given by known quality papers, websites or TV channels because they know their job, their duties and they surely became journalists to inform people. When it comes to tabloids we have to be careful.
However, journalists have to be fast if they want to be first to give an information so it can encourage them to not take the time to check they sources.
Finally, even if we already seen false informations given by medias, it represent a minimal part if we compare it with all informations they gave.
I agree with Eva to a point: today, medias give us a lot of informations. So it's very important to know how separate true and false informations, with a critical point of vue. I think that the reliable of informations depends of source's informations. If you reed tabloid like "closer" or "oups", topics are not very serious and journalists exploit the public's taste for scandals. Their goal is not to investigate but broadcast libels. However, if you reed quality papers like "le monde" or "the times" you can trust news given by the journalists, who have to check sources and reveal the truth. I am sure that today we can have real informations but we just have to read them with an open mind and a personal opinion.
Nowadays, it becomes more and more difficult to find reliable information. Why? Because everybody is informed through medias. The quantity of information that flows on T.V, the internet is really amazing. Despite the efforts of journalist and editor to be objectiv, more and more people fear the authenticity of medias. I think the better way to gather reliable informations is to read differents point of vue, from differents channels, newspapers, radios...
For ten years, more and more people are informed of the news, thanks to the internet and television. But the media are not always reliable. As we have seen that there are few, one hour after the so-called death of Martin Bouygue the online encyclopedia, Wikipedia, had already marked the date of his death on his website, one can only wonder if the current media still provide reliable information?
Indeed, this is not the first time that false information circulating in the media and especially the most used; Internet and TV. This increase in "fake" is attributed to the fact that many news website still does not check enough their sources and exploit the public's taste of scandal . Luckily most traditional media such as newspapers and magazines vehicle less fake. Indeed, not issuing continuous information this media have more time to check their sources. Which could be seen as a negative point of traditional press, it transforms into positive.
In conclusion, I would say that for finding reliable informations today, whatever the media use, there are two steps to follow. It is already to favorise the traditional quality press, or use websites recognized to deliver a reliable content. And at last, use our critical spirit to not believe the first doubtful new.

Is it still possible to find reliable press today ? Of course it is, the main role of press today is to inform people and make sure they have information which is faithful. But we all know that press has make mistake by the past such as BFM TV who had disclose precious precisions on the hide place of the hostages of Mamadou Coulibaly during a terrorist attack in France. Yes, in a way, the press is reliable because it was true ! But don't you think that it's completely irresponsible ? I do not. Threat the life of many innocent just for audience is shameful. Tabloids or sport newspaper are most of the time not reliable, for instance the Guardian aired several rumors of football transfert every years. Tabloid are even built on rumors sometimes as we can see on Public for exemple. How many times do we has see tabloids announce that 2 celebrities was in a relationship
Today, the press is the best thing to informed people. It is available on different supports like the tv, radio, newspapers, online press... When there is an important event , the press is exited ! In fact, it's a race to informations. But, sometimes, some informations are wrong because a journalist hasn't verify his source. So ,you must be critic and wait the information on the others support. For example, BFM TV, broadcast a false information last week about Martin Bouygues : The TV press said he is died.
Generally, the press is reliable, thanks to professionalism of some journalist who enjoy their job. In fact, sometimes , the informations depend of the quality of the support press.
To my mind, informations are more reliable on a famous and serious channel TV or radio.
Then , if you want to be sure about a news , wait and see...
Finally, I give you an advice: verify the news on different supports.
Thanks & bye !

Nowdays , competition is ubiquitus. We can notice that kind of spirit at school, during sport activities and mostly in the world of work. Newspaper factories is an actor in this race for money , indeed , some newspapers are published in order to be bought. To help it , that kind of newspapers , called in the most important part tabloids, choose subjects who pick the interest of most of the population as People or Politicians . As well those subjects aren't frequent and journalists still need articles to sell their newspaper, so they're emphasizing informations a lot and sometimes they even create them. Besides , since they need to be the first one to air an information, like Mickael Jackson death or Justin beiber new hair cut, they are depedent on the time. So they don't always take time to analyse the information. In those cases we can question the authenticity of the paper. However, all news aren't to blame. For instance, Le Monde or Le Figaro's goal number one is to inform, not to sell. We usually can trust them althought that kind of paper is forced to include some catching informations to survive.
To conclude, I think it is still possible to find reliable news today but it depends on the magazine, the story, and the journalist. Some magazines are create to be sell and can change the reality or overstate the news. Some others rather give real facts to the public than win money.
Nowadays information flows. Anyone can access a live stream of information, be it on non-stop TV or radio channels or on the internet. More traditional media remain like newspapers or magazines. Nevertheless, one can wonder if all these sources can be relied on.
Media is known to be influenced: they all get their basic information from a few international news agencies such as "Agence France press" or "Associated press". Futhermore, they may have their own agenda. They may persue a political objective as all propaganda news papers of any dicatorship. They may aim at influencing the readers on economical matters. As a consequence it is important to bear in mind that any news is biased.
However, a good journalist's first duty is to remain unprejudiced, faithful and to doublechek facts. That's why, one can rely on a few recognized serious sources like "The Times" to obtain trustworthy knowledge. As we know, authors have to choose an angle to present a situation. It is obviously necessary to crosscheck sources to get a wider view on any subject.
In nutshell, many journalists are honest hence I am conviced if you choose carefully yours sources and crosscheck them you are bound to find reliable news today.
There are many possibilities in order to follow the actuality.
On the Internet there are many sites that allow you to learn about current events, although these sites are not always reliable.
indeed, the number of sites on the Internet is important, but these sites are not always reliable, they can disclose false information.
On the Internet, there are many sites
there are also known sites that disclose them all the time true information so I advise everyone to learn from verified websites
To my mind, it is possible to find reliable informations, especially on printed press. However, the web media can broadcast fakes ( like the story of Martin Bouygues) and induse people on misled. Then, the Government can also cover up some events for no involves panic !
After, the best true information stay on direct TV.
Finally, we find reliable facts and informations generally. But sometimes, the info derive and become fake infos ( on the web, social networks, etc.)
First of all, it will never be possible to find reliable press at one hundread percent. Nowadays technology have a massive place in life and also in press, for example, most of the newspapers have a website. Everybody want to deliver in first place an information, and that is why there is some false information who are relayed by press. However, I agree with the fact that printed press are more reliable than online press, because they have more time to check their sources. But they aren't totale reliable too, for instance 20 minutes, relayed twice false information. Of course there are a lot of media like radio, television, the Internet but none can't be totaly reliable. How I said before, it's all about the "scoop". To conclude, most of the informations given by the press are true but not all, so if you want to be sure of something don't believe the first article you saw but check other press or wait for the information to be confirmed.

Nowaday, it's possible to find reliable news. Medias (internet and newspaper) give lot of informations who are not every trusth.
It's depends of source's informations.
In fact, i think when you read a really quality papers you can believe in this ibformations. Journalist who write a article had to make really searchs.
However, tabloids are not really sur. Yhis newspapers write lot of articles only for money and to make the biggest scandal.
Papers' quality depends of journalist and her goal.
Is it still possible to find reliable news today ?
Of course it is possible whereas it might be hard. Nowadays we have many kinds of media like TV, news paper or online press and they all give news permanently. It is a race between media to be the first to publish a news. This fact is surely degrading the quality of the articles...
An other fact is that they are different types of news. On the one hand there are the quality paperson wich are surely reliable. I think they are always checking there sources. And the other hand they are news likes tabloids wich alway talks about rumors. They don't check they sources. To conclude,it's still possible to have reliable news
