Yesterday night, we played some games to learn our names, we then sang and dansed a kind of Zumba.

This morning, we played some theatre with Vicki and Tom about some fairy tales.

After some of the people went to the swimming pool and they were very brave because the weather was bad (it was raining) and some other went to the forest to play games. Finally the sun came back !!!

And now we are going to the Carrisbrooke castle.

Julia,Lyna.

This afternoon, we visited Carisbrooke Castle.

Luckily, the sun came back but the wind was still very strong. In the time of Charles I, it was a symbol of political power, a fortress protecting England against invasion, a prison and a home.

People lived in it since before the Norman Conquest.  We went up the battlements called the “Wall walk”, you have a magnificent view from up there. You can see the cathedral of Newport, giant fields and little houses. Up there, you can see the well. Once a little girl fell inside.

The legend says that if you look inside the well, you can see her face. In the museum, if you pay attention you can observe the hair of Queen Elisabeth.

There are much things left to say but not enough space.

Today it’s Julia’s birthday. You can see the photos in the gallery below.

Tonight, we’re doing a campfire and games. You’ll get the photos tomorrow.
