BLOGLISH

Gothic Story-Eliot Caspar

The revenge of Harry Jude

During the night of October 25, 1765, the moon was full and bright. A dozen kilometers from Kincraig, a town in the north of Cairngorms Natural Park in Scotland, a man named Harry Jude has been living alone in his manor since his wife was murdered, a week ago. He thought that the murderer deserved the death sentence and not just 5 years in prison. That evening, Harry Jude was sitting in his chair, in front of his fireplace, reading a book. The silence of the night was only interrupted by the crackling noice of the fireplace and the hoot of an owl perched on a dead tree.

Around 11 pm, the moonlight infiltrated the house through the window and the man was enlightened. Suddenly his arms and legs began to stretch out, his nose became a muzzle, his pupils were dilated, his fingernails turned into claws, a tail grew in his back and finally, hairs covered the entire body... He had transformed into a werewolf... He became a real wild beast. So he let out a terrifying howl and escaped through the window.

Now, he had only one thing in his mind : kill the person responsible for the murder of his wife. So he ran and ran and ran for several kilometers to the prison in Inverness, a town on the banks of the River Ness in Scotland. Once he arrived at the prison, he walked passed the guards, climbed the walls, went around the various obstacles and finally, he managed to get inside. There, the lights were off and the prisoners were sleeping. With his wolf eyes he inspected all the cells. Suddenly he recognized him, he was there, in front of him, sleeping. Using his claws, he broke the lock and rushed into the small space and he jumped on him, bit him on the back of the neck and then a scream mingled with a glorious howl. He managed to escape, hurried home, and lay down.

The next morning He woke up and had regained his human appearance.
