My work experience

Last year, I stayed five weeks in England with an Erasmus+ programme. I was in Eastbourne (Sussex in South of the U.K.).

We all stayed in different host families so I was alone in a nice family of four: parents and 2 kids.

I did my work placement at Intersport, a sports shop. My work placement was located in Seaford 30 minutes from home. They sell all sport types of items. I discovered cricket there! They also sell school uniforms.
In our free time, we could do plenty of activities. I visited Eastbourne (shopping center, the beach, the Pier) and I went to Brighton and London too.
I feel that it was profitable for me because I've learnt a lot of things and I've tremendously improved my english!

My trip to England

Last March, I had the opportunity with the Erasmus programme to go five weeks to Eastbourne (East Sussex) a city in the south of England with my classmates from the European English class.

I was hosted by a lovely couple and my friends were in different families.  I went to school for one week and a month on a work-placement at Lewes, a small town. My work placement was in Abigail's Drapery, a small shop  specialised in natural textiles: Homeware, craft kits, beautiful cotton pyjamas, children's toys, local sussex wools and much more; they also propose sewing workshops for kids and adults. I was in charge of  updating the blog that I created for them and other social medias.


During my free time, I discovered the English lifestyle, I visited Eastbourne, London and Brighton. I did a lot of shopping !!

This trip was one of the best times I've ever had, including the working part. I amazingly improved my english and now I know that I want to live in England for sure !

Work experience in England

To improve my English, last April, I went to England for four weeks. to do my work placement

I stayed in a family and they learnt me a lot of things, I did my work placement at Eastbourne (Sussex) in a Hairdresser.

During my days off, I visited many places and I had the opportunity to go to London and Brighton thanks to the European section. I was really happy and motivated. This is experience is very important for my future and my future job.

My feelings about the European section

I am currently  in my second year of studies in the European Section.

Being in the section is a chance, a privilege because I know this will help me in the future.

Thanks to European Section I did my work placement in England in Eastbourne (Sussex) last year.

This is an experience that I will never forget.

I worked in a Charity shop in Hailsham, not far from Eastbourne. I had to tidy up clothes, to inform the customers.

During my stay in England, I visited London, it is a wonderful city. I was lucky to be in a great host family who took care of me, they helped me and learnt me a lot.

My teachers are very attentive and always do their best to help us.

I'm really motivated and I try to work hard to be able to reach the level for the European mention.
