Carnosaur is the adaptation of the book Carnosaur written by John Brosnan. In this movie, a dinosaur escapes from a laboratory and kill environmental activists. Doc, a security watchman who protects digging equipment from these activists, investigates on these deaths. Some habitants of a near village are infected by a strange virus. A friend of Doc, an environmental activist named Thrush is infected.

Doc discovers that the dinosaur was created by a scientist named Jane Tiptree. He visits her at her laboratory, and Jane explains to Doc that she created other dinosaurs, and that she created a virus that causes women and chickens to GIVE BIRTH TO DINOSAURS. This is not a joke, this is really the plot of the movie. She explains that she wants to wipe out the human species so dinosaurs can rule the Earth again. Doc escapes with a serum and the crazy scientist is infected by her own virus (and dies giving birth to a dinosaur).

The positive thing about this movie is that it can be very funny if it isn’t taken seriously.

The story of the movie is ridiculous. The villain, the evil scientist who wants to destroy humanity to replace it with dinosaurs cannot be taken seriously, and her purpose and her plan is completely stupid. The other characters are also poorly written and it is impossible to care about them. The effects of the movie are incredibly bad. The music is the least annoying thing in the movie (but it’s still bad).

The author of the book on which the movie is based himself didn’t like the movie. The most surprising thing about this film is that it had sequels, despite how awful it is and its bad reception.
