John Lennon was born on the ninth of October nineteen forty, in Liverpool, England.

When he was young, Lennon's parents separated and he lived with his aunt. John's father was not present for him. John's mother, Julia, remarried, but visited him regularly. She taught John how to play the piano and she bought his first guitar. His mother was fatally struck by a car in July 1958.

John went to an art school for college, he did not get good grades in school but had a great artistic talent.

John had a music group who was composed by Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Pete Best. The Beatles became one of the most successful group in musical history.

Lennon left the Beatles in September 1969 because he made an artist partnership with his second wife Yoko Ono who led to serious tensions in the group. But his solo album “Imagine” was the best album of his career. “Some Times In New York City” was also a wonderful project who defends many greats ideas like the song “Woman Is the Nigger of the World” who fight against the misogyny.

He was against the war and was fighting against it. John Lennon was part of the "Peace and Love Movement". John had a spirit always boiling and rebellious. He was very involved. He loved playing guitar and he was fascinated by Elvis Presley and Rock'n'roll. he also liked to read and write. Physically he was slim and tall, he had long brown hair and brown eyes.

Mark David Chapman, a fan, shot Lennon in front of his apartment in New York City. Lennon died at New York City's Roosevelt Hospital on the eighth of December nineteen eighty, at the age of 40.
