The Help Movie Trailer Official (HD)
The movie that i will tell you is The Help. This movie is set in Jackson, a town in Mississippi in the early 1960s and he tells the story of Aibileen (Viola Davis) , a rather quiet domestic, Minny (Octavia Spencer) , a rebel domestic and Eugenia "Steeker" Phelan, a white young woman who has just completed his studies of journalism and wants to became a writer. I personaly thinks that it was a basic movie but no he is really unique. Thanks their unity and their determination, the three women have succeeded something amazing !
More particularly the story talk about Steeker , the white young women, who decided to focus on the lives of black servants in charge at that time both the home and raising children . For this, she meets two maids, Aibileen and Minny , who , at great risk , will persuade other servants to do something never seen ... .Before i look at the movie, i wasn't excited to see him because i had greatly afraid to bored but when i seen the film, my first impression was that i was wrong because this film is wonderful and perfect, i like him so much and it allowed me to better understand the life of black people in America, at that time.
To my mind, i was impressed by , firstly, the role of the characters well find by Tate Taylor because thanks to this, i had the impression that all was so real in mainly for the role of Viola Davis because, for me no other actress could be play the role of Aibeleen. Secondly, i like The Help because this film about a time when the black community was not well seen in the US where segregation is felt at every street corner I think this film is a bit below the reality, I suppose it would be worse still a deeply moving and poignant film. At last as a matter of fact I could assume that the story is hilarous and irresistible throughout the film is very moving and do shed tears .
Although the film made me much more there are certain things I find too cliché like that on one side there are the white ( nasty , racist and stupid ) , the other black ( gentle , sensitive and intelligent ) and the middle character of Skeeter ( very nice , very sensitive and very smart ) . For me this detail its unoriginal and especially not totally true because it would mean that all the whites were nasty and all blacks were nice, then its totally false. The second thing who irritated me is the movie is revised, corrected and formatted of the movie The purple color because several scenes are simiral. All this thing down for me the quality of the film.
In this film there are a lots of characters but the mainly is Aibelenn (a domestic) , Steeker ( a young journalist) , Minny (a domestic) , Celia Foote ( a white young women) and Hilly Holbrook ( a white young women) but there are too several secondary characters. For me, the best charecters are Aibeleen and Celia Foote because Aibeleen is a woman who have lost her son in an accident and after this she is stayed strong and Celia Foote is too funny and she always has the same exhilaration when she miscarried. But on the contrary for me the worse character is Hilly Holbrook because she is nasty and she thinks only at her . I personally think that the actrees played very well their characters with passion.
The staging is relatively conventional and sober but note that efforts have been made on the costumes and sets that recreate an atmosphere wonderfully very 1960s humor (you will never see such a chocolate pie ) as emotions are waiting for you , allowing to approach lightly this difficult social and racial theme. One of the other highlights of the film is its fluidity. The film passes at breakneck speed despite its 2:30 ! Between humor and emotion , the film finds a perfect balance. I recommend enormously to go see this movie ang I give him the note of 4/5!
