Did you enjoy David Bowie's hit Space oddity?

Chris Hadfield is a real life Canadian astronaut. He sang and recorded Bowie's song on the International Space Station (ISS) in 2013. This marked an historical event: it became the first song ever recorded in space.

When he shared the video on Facebook, Bowie said it was "possibly the most poignant version of the song ever created."

Hadfield changed some parts of the lyrics to reflect his own story: an astronaut who finished his mission into space and returns home safely!
