From my point of view, the best quote is the fourth :
"Money is better than poverty, only for Financial reasons"
- Woody Allen
Indeed, Woody Allen wants to say that money doesn't make anyone happy, and btw, money is not better than poverty all the time.
Très bon site, je le recommanderai à plein de monde, le lapin et le violet est très bien choisit......
I chose Mandela's quote because he let's us understand what actual success is. By being free to provide for ourselves we can insure our own success but to do so we first have to be free. This also comes from somebody who went through many hardships in his life so I feel he knows what brings happiness. So money is relevant but how you come by it is what will define your success.
My favorite quotation is the fourth one. Indeed, I think that money can help people in some cases but not in your entire life. That helps for financial reasons ; you're sure you have a place to live, you have ressources to eat and you have no reason to be worried about your future. But it's all about superficial life, it doesn't have any importance in your social life and on your hapiness.
Hello Miss Hinard,
I chose the Nelson Mandela's quotation : "Money won't create success, the freedom that make it will." Why ? Because I think he is true, because money doen't do anything. Everyone who wants to use money, must be free. I think Nelson Mandela knows what he said because he fought for black's right. To conclude, I think this quotation is a very good summary of the Mandela's life.
I chose Woody Allen's quote because it is my favourite one. I really like it because I think it is so true. In this quotation, Woody Allen tells us that if you have money, it doesn't make you a better person and it will not change your personality, it will only enable you to not be in need. Money is a good thing but it's not the most important thing in life. In the end, whether you are rich or poor, your life will end the same as everyone else's.
I choose the quote of Woody Allen.
To Woody Allen , having money is better than poverty, because money allows to buy all you need to live. With money we aren't in Financial need.
But, from my point of view, money is not the most important thing in the life, money in not a source of happiness or of healthy, and i think is better to be poor and happy than rich and unhappy!
I chose the first quote of Oscar Wilde because I think it show the truth of our society and the power of money. Everybody have already dream to live wealthy, when you are child you want a lot of playthings or other and you realise it’s with money you can have it. And it’s when you are old it’s proved because without money your live is more limited.
I choose the quotation of Nelson Mandela because it is the quotation which show my think. This quotation shows that money is not the most important thing. it shows that the most important thing is a thing which we can't buy, freedom. I think that important things, like freedom truth and love, can't be bought, so money seems very useless.
For me the best quotation is the first one.
I choose the Oscar Wilde's quote because i think he wants to not beeing hypocritical, and also it reveal that money become something really important in our society.
Also by this quotation Oscar Wilde show that he saw during his life how money is a way to get power and how it rule the world.
My favourite quotation is the Wild's one. Indeed, I like the way he plays on words, even if I don't fully agree with him.
According to him, life, and probably the "wisdom" he gained through it, have enabled him to say that money is the most important thing. Young he felt it, old he is positive about it.
He seems to be a bit resigned and it's kind of pleasant.
Though I don't deeply think money is the most important thing in life, in order to be happy, I think it's a start, and that's why I think Wild is making a point.
I completely agree with the quote Aristotle Onassis.
Because first of all, a man can not live without a woman, he would be completely lost and alone. Then her life wiil not have any interest.
Because all the monies of the world can not remplace the beauty, sweetness or all qualities of the woman, or even buy the woman. Because she does not have a price.
I choose Oscar Wilde's quote because what he said is right. When we are young, we actually think that money was the most important thing in life, but it is when we grow that we realize that it's true. Indeed, we live in a world where money is everywhere. Like Mathilde said, "money allows to buy all you need to live", and if we don't have money, we can't live very long in our world. In fact, we can say that money is our "survival kit" in life.
However, I think that money is not as important as Oscar Wilde said, because there are things that money can't buy, and which are better than money. For example, can we really buy something like love or family with money?
For me, Nelson Mandela's quotation "Money won't create success, the freedom that make it will." is true. Indeed, possessing person a lot of money will not succeed necessarily contrary for one person coming from an unprivileged background but which will do everything to earn money and to rise in the society.
I chose Oscar Wilde’s quote because in my opinion, what he says is true. We have right to say money doesn’t make happiness but one thing is certain it is contributing. For me, Oscar Wilde shows us the time hasn’t changed and money it’s always the actor of our lives, no matter period, no matter whether you are young or old. Money is and always will be one of the most important things in life. If you want to be healthy, you need money, if you want to be happy, you need a minimum of money, money is at the center of everything (unfortunately).
i agree with the third quotation, Why do we need money? We need money to be able to live in a beautiful house etc , but the only money do not make the happiness. In fact without woman. The men would live alone and to have always more money would have then no more sense. The money serves us to live happy but we need of family and the women.
Of an other one quoted, without woman, The money of DSK is useless...
In my mind the best quote is the first. It shows that by growing and seeing the reality of the world, everything revolves around money in our society from our youngest age and that since long time in humanity
Most of things that we do are linked to the money, it's an evidence that humans can't live without money.
For me the best quote is the quote from Oscar Wilde. It Summarises fine the way of life in who we are. When we are a kid, we dreams to be rich like in the films that we watch in tv. And we are told that Money does not buy happiness. But the truth is different with the time you realises that in the world the money controls everything. You can not be happy without money because the world of today life on the money. He lives for money.
I choose Allen quotation's because I like the way he expose the fact of benefit of your money. Indeed he say that money only way to buy what you need to eat, drink and live easily. In fact everyone know that so he didn't learn something to other people. Woody Allen have a fun point of you about money.
@Moi : You misinterpreted the quote he doesn't mean " money doesn't do anything " he means money isn't everything but it is still important.
I agree with the quotation 4, because it's true that money is important but not for live and be happy ; i'ts not because we have money that we're happy. Sometimes people are more happy when they are not a lot of money contrary to people who have lessmoney and they're not happy.
I choose "If women didn't exist, all the money in the world would have no meaning." from Aristotle Onassis because I'm so agree with this quotation. On departure, we know men are representatives of power, of money, of superiority. But, in reality we know behind each tall man, there is one woman. The influence of woman is the most important in decision from man. On world, man is just an image of decision but without woman, peace or war haven't got senses.
Consequently, I'm agree with Aristotle Onassis because money without woman significate anyway
