Job shadowing au Lycée Jules Verne, Limours
From the 18th to the 22nd April 2022 two English teachers from our school, IES Octavio Cuartero in Spain, travelled to France to observe English lessons at Lycée Jules Verne. They discovered about their way of developing their Bilingual Project and Upper Secondary School system in general.
Among the fulfilled objectives our teachers gained new English teaching ideas and methods and exchanged good practice thanks to the teachers who let them observe in their lessons. They had the opportunity to attend English speaking contemporary world lessons as well as English as L2 and English literature lessons. They could also visit some of the best English foreign languages bookshops in Paris and practice the English language as much as they could. Other programmed activities were aimed at discovering local culture and surrounding areas.
For sure, it was a great experience which contributed to both job and personal enrichment for the teachers. They arrived in Spain full of energy and ideas to share with the whole school community. This wouldn´t have been possible without the Lycée staff´s help and hospitality and our Erasmus + Project KA-101 Plurilingüismo: nuestra hoja ruta. We are proud of this experience and hope to go on working in the future.
