Days 3 and 4

On Wednesday 19th, we left the fog of Guernsey to venture in the adventurous and remote island of Sark. Hydrometric rate was high but mood were down in the middle of this misty atmosphere. Fortunately, happiness returned when we got off the sailboats. After a little hike to the top of the Pilcher old memorial, we enjoyed the panoramic view of the dramatic landscape. Some students went for a bike ride while others went for a swim. It was raining cats and dogs but we had a great time around the island.

We got back to the boats and sailed back for 5 hours towards Jersey.

This morning, because of the tides, we were off very early towards another island : Chausey (a french island). We saw the beautiful sunrise while on the boat. The afternoon was divided between great walking and swimming. For the last night on boat, we stayed on the sea and played games. Some regrets when we realize that today is the last day of the trip. Only 1 hour and a half of sailing and we’ll be back in Granville, ready to clean the boats and jump in the train.
