Oxford is a city in central southern England. The University of Oxford is the oldest university in England, it opened in 1116.
Male and
female students come when they are 17 years old. Female students could not come until 1878. There is a campus in The University
so students can sleep there. There are 38 colleges and 18 000 students. The tradition is that during evaluations, students must
wear an academic dress:
There are only 3 holidays (winter break, easter and the summer holidays) but the summer holidays take 3 months (not 2 months like
in France) Lots of politicians like Albert Einstein or Lewis Caroll went there because it's a very famous and prestigious university.
