This is a hyper realistic graffiti, made by a community of anonymous artists, called the Graffiti Technica. They work for hours in the streets all over the world in order to offer people some blossoming and very creative pieces of art such as this one.

The artists here depicted a huge and dark chasm, looking very deep, and in which can be seen a running waterfall; probably the spring of any underground river. On the photograph, the work of art seems to reach its purpose: it impresses and entertains people, and it amuses them as well. We can see a bike rider, obviously surprised by the painting and posing for the photo on the small wooden plank drawn by the artists to pretend the possible crossing of the abyss.

It appears that there is no specific message conveyed, even though an interpretation of it is imaginable: as a breach in the everyday life, symbolized by the road, and the waterfall being the way to something new.

It can be said that this is street art – hyper realistic one, indeed – for it is a painting exhibited for free in the street, and explicable. Moreover, if the idea passed on is the one I understood, it would be a perfect representation of the essence of street art as a raising against the boring and oppressive routine. I’d say it is a modern and elaborate piece of art, with an attractive aspect. Alas! I am afraid this is an ephemeral work, however very ingenious.
