After the dinner, Mrs. Smith, who had noticed that her son had his mind on other things, decided to give him his presents now. The glow of some inner delight occurred on Harvey's face but she left immediately when all of the lights of the house went out. A background noise was heard. It was as a noise as a angry man, a very angry man but Harvey thought heard too, an animal noise as a enraged animal. Suddenly, the shadow of a man appeared in the background of the living room. The Smith family was grouped together on the sofa.

Mrs. Smith screamed and clang on to the arm of her husband while Dan Smith looked brave. And when the man approached, Dan Smith stood up and raised his fists but the man was stronger. The stranger was really furious and shouted. Harvey noticed that the man had very pointed teeths... They were fangs. This man was a vampire. As a result of this discovery, Harvey was afraid and started to cried. His mother hugged him hard.

Immediately, the vampire struck Dan Smith on the neck with they nails of his hands that were claws. The brave man droped down dead on the carpet. Mrs. Smith shouted louder and Harvey too. Suddenly, the vampire focused his eyes on the mother and her son. However, as a consequence of the death of his dad, Harvey Smith was enraged. He was very mature for his age and for him, no matter who was this stranger , the little boy was going to take revenge for his dad. He looked at the Christmas tree and thought that it was the worst Christmas Eve because of this stranger.

With surprising force, the little boy let go of the arms of his mother and shouted “Go away! Go away! Go away! We have not done anything! Why such hatred? “It was a little boy’s voice and the vampire looked less furious. Mrs. Smith continued to scream and cry but when her son said these words, she looked Harvey Smith with pride. She was proud of her son.

The vampire looked at Harvey Smith and began approached, this vampire was very large. At that moment Harvey was very afraid and the vampire took out his fangs. He put his hand on the Harvey’s cheek and said “you’re brave young boy but not enough strong. After that, you will”. The vampire had found something into Harvey, an unexplainable strength.

Mrs. Smith stopped to scream. She didn't understand the situation. Her son, her Harvey spoke to a vampire.

Another day, there were six months later, in the playground of the school, his school friend mocked of Harvey because he had not succeeded in scoring goal because the ball was too hard. Harvey Smith was a very weak boy for his age.

Nevertheless, he has a maturity unanimous and able to skip a class. His teacher and people are impressed by his maturity.

The vampire put his mouth near to Harvey's neck. Mrs. Smith started to scream and said to a vampire “you’re a monster”. The vampire looked her and answered “this boy can be as me”. He bit Harvey. Mrs. Smith shouted louder and her brave son fell down. Harvey’s neck was bleeding and immediately the little boy stood. At that moment, Mrs. Smith understood that his son had become a vampire. Harvey Smith turned to his mother attracted by her human smell. His eyes were red and he had fangs.

Mrs. Smith stopped to scream but she was so sad, so sad that the vampire had pitied of her. Harvey Smith approached his mother in the sofa and out his fangs.

Harvey Smith woke up with a start in his bed. That was a nightmare. The little boy scratched his eyes and smiled. He hasn’t fangs, he’s not a vampire. Immediately he runs in the living room. His parents are sitting in the sofa and said to him “MERRY CHRISTMAS HONEY!” and shows his presents under the Christmas tree.
