The fault in our stars is a wonderful cinematographic adaptation of John Green’s novel, published two years before.

Personally, I have been really very touched by this movie. It was amazing to feel so many emotions. I have read the book before to see the movie, it’s a real masterpiece. The quotes are unforgettable, the characters are appealing, and the writer’s pen is just addictive. To my mind, to adapt a book like this one is not effortless, and Josh Boone succeeded. I have been cried during my reading and I cried again in cinema! And, if I saw again this film, I’m almost sure that I’ll weep one more time!

It was based on Indianapolis. A sixteen-year-old cancer patient, Hazel, is forced by her parents to attend a support group. It’s here she meets Augustus, a charming boy in remission, who share her wittiness and her passion for the literature. The attraction between them is immediate. And despite the Hazel’s unwillingness, who fear to involve herself in relationship because the time is counted, their love story starts… Gone them in a crazy, ambitious, funny and mostly lively plan.

To my mind, many things are very good in this movie. First of all, I really liked the humor’s presence despite the sad topic of this story. Moreover, this love story is not boring like we could thing it in a first time. In my opinion it’s very good to speak about cancer. It’s a topic who touches me much. As for me, this movie is a life’s lesson. After watch that, we see our life in other way. We forget for a moment our little daily problems and we smile at the life because we are lucky to be in good health. Many scenes are accompanied with wonderful music like All of the Stars, by Ed Sheeran , Long way Down, by Tom Odell, Tee Shirt by Birdy.

The negative points are maybe this movie is destinated only for young women and the sad and romantic movie's novices. It's maybe not really realistic in relation to the real states of the cancer's patients.

I personnally think that this movie miss some of actions and the teenagers’adventure is not really a crazy adventure with lot of incidents. In our fault stars is a tragedy but we can’t reproach to make us cry.

Characters

The characters are unbelievable. Of course, the dead’s fear is present in two teengares’minds but she is exceeding by the philosophy. Hazel and Augustus know that they will die and they accept this. Shailene Woodley (who plays Hazel Grace) has got some perfect face’s expressions at moment and the game with Ansel Elgort is phenomenal. There is so much complicity between us! It is amazing to say this is just an actors’s game! Ansel Elgort, mediocre in Divergent, begin by irritate us with his pretentious look before to be desesperatly optimist.
