Hollywood, in the 1950 years, the film industry improves. Eddy Mannix work for Capitol pictures. He must find the actor Baird Whitlock who disappeared in the shooting of Hail, Caesar!.
It must also manage the demanding director Laurence Laurentz, the press, the pregnancy of an actress and her family life. Then we discovered that Baird Whitlock was kidnapped by the Communists. And an company aunt to force Eddy to work with them.
I took pleasure to see this film from the first minutes: hilarious humor, comic situations.
He directed the actors to comics roles, they play very well, especially the horrible scarlett johanson. He takes the classic scenes and replays has its way but he is not excessive.
Nothing stunning but everything works well enough, the movie proves pleasant.
To begin the film is funny, but it remains long. Ave Caesar approach superficially his thematic.
Except that, I dont have anythings to blame this film.
In this film there is many famous actor like George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson or Josh Brolin. Obviously they play very well. The character are good, Scarlett Johanson is very vulgar, the cow-boy who wants to became a great actor. They are original and this blend works well.
Finally, I think this film is a great comedy he is irresistible, the thematic (communism) direct the film. I advise you to go see his.
