Review :

Positive things :
I was relieved to see that this adaptation is not mind-numbing like the others ones, in fact, it's more captivating than all the series I ever saw, because it's the perfect mix between action, humor, suspens, and serious. The plot is basic, one story per episode, but there's a lot of unexpected plot twists due of Sherlock's own story. The music and effects used were not that bad because I didn't even noticed them and it didn't bothered me so it's a good point. In contrary to the soundtracks that I've never seem to hear, I liked the opening's song, which is full of mystery, it reflect the entire serie in just one mnute.

Negative things :

Sometimes we feel confused due of the permanent unexpected plot twists, it depends on the viewer point of view, he may like it of not, be surprised or confused. Also, it's sad that there is just three episodes per season and just two season, I finished this serie after one night, and unfortunately now I'm addicted to it but I don't have new episodes to see. BBC should add more seasons and episodes, maybe do all the novels written, because this serie is very addictive. The other negative thing is that the serie is not that much original, I mean that it's a copy of the original texts of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle put in our century, without anything else. I personally think that it's disappointing, but the serie is still awesome.

Characterization :
The actors are convincing, especially Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbach) because it's hard to play Sherlock and he was able to make the character of Sherlock lives. The relation between Sherlock and Dr. Watson is pretty witty and addictive, they get accomplice very fast, maybe because of the intelligence of Sherlock, and Watson is like the complement of him. But I found that Mycraft (Sherlock's brother) a little bit useless (we don't see him a lot, maybe three or four times in the two seasons), and annoying. In the serie, we feel as intelligent as Sherlock, so, the policemen are very boring due of their point of view about crimes, so they are convincing in their role.

To conclue, this serie is just AWESOME, PERFECT, and so damn much ADDICTIVE, you'll finish it without noticing it. After watching it, you'll find many good references to the serie in BBC's website, such as Dr John Watson's blog, and Sherlock's blog, and it's very funny and you'll see a lot of references to the mysterious things of the serie, the hidden things. So hurry up and go see this serie !
