1. The Color Purple or the definition of an unbelievable, irresistible and captiving story !


  2. The Color Purple took place in a city of Georgia , America  where we can follow miss Celie's hard life.

    When she was younger, her father started to rape her and he said to her that she was forced to do « the things that her mother did not want to do » so there he talked about the fact to gratify him sexually. This incestuous relationship will give her two children, one boy and one girl that her father snatched away from their mother at birth. It was very difficult to live that and in the film the mother's place is empty. It's as if she was inexistent however it's well her daughter who is rapped by her husband and who is suffering. It's really a wonderful touching film which make cry more than one. People who have not seen, are very poorly next to the plate.

  3. The thing who make miss Celie more unbelievable is that if she endures all this is because she didn't want that her litlle daughter who love more than anything suffers like her.  To protect her, she stay strong and say nothing, accept all the situation and continues to smile, play and laugh with her daughter. And this, same when her father go to give her to an older man who wanted to her sister in first but he disagree with this and preferred give Celie, his loveless daughter. In doing that he create a tragic futur life for she because the misery's life to be continued for a long time. It's at the moment where the mistress of her husband come that the things start to move. In the face of a difficult biggining, she will finish to save she because she will learn to « be rebel » more later.


  4. The film is probably one of the best ! The casting is amazing, the actor play is just fabulous and more than all, is despite all that, an old movie and because of that, this movie is more fantastic ! There is not spactacular visual effects like in the action's film or again excessive violence scenes like in the horror's film, but there is a big mix atmosphere. Ordinary seen the script it's very digraceful, strange and not right to have fun or laugh in looking at it but Spielberg succed to make a masterpiece simultaneously sad and funny. I think that it's the point positive for the sensitives soul. Same in the unhappiness, people can laugh, not bad or again for be bad or something like this but just because the confusion, the moment, the action, because of all that are funny.



  5. This film has been compared to The Film To See because is breathtaking, is amazing, not typical or unoriginal but wonderful. All is credible, the story, the casting, the few effects, the scenery, the atmosphere, all ! At the beggining it was a biography write in the Alice Walker's book, in which she told all who happened to her, I can imagine that it was touching but I don't think that it was also touching than the Spielberg's film, maybe more, maybe less, I can't judge without know it's in my valeus ! Only this movie is very a quality's film because it stay in memory same many years after have seen it ! Just powerful and successful film !

  6. In reality I don't have anything to say about the negatives things but it's true that there are one or two bad points. To start , there is mother ! Why she was so inexistent ? It's incredible , I'm afraid. How a mother can see all the troubles that her daughter live without saying anything ? Why Spielberg don't make of this character, a bad person or a really present character to intensify the horror of the situation ? I'm in the same time confused and disappointed ! The mother's face have been horrified in the true story, why not horrified more this face on the fiction ? As for me if it's was like this, the film will be just amazing , incredible , I don't have really have words to describe how it will be such I think that it's a genial idea, very interresting !


  7. An horrible character who  can produce the same emotion than in the theater, the catharsis : make horror and mercy why not ? At least, the spectator will win a lesson. For exemple young people (the women) will never be a woman like miss Celie's mother.

    And maybe, I say well maybe it's sometimes hard to see some scene. The film is very beautiful so it's sad that it's impossible to see it with our little brothers or sisters in down age. If some scenes were more « sweet » it will pass better. I say that but is not an obligation, I speak to the name of the young people. The bar's scenes are also a little bit strange. Maybe the place where the famous song Miss Celie's Blue have been sing could be special but there is really special. For me it wasn't glamor for the singer. But it was the Georgia so why not ?


  8. The casting...just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ! When we say that Steven Spielberg is the most big film director, is not a joke ! The actors are just more than adapted to the film. It's like if they was born to interprete their characters ! Like it was written ! The mix Danny Gloven, Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg, wow just a bomb. They was not playing , they was living their characters. I would be temped to say that if it wasn't this people who play this characters, the movie could have been unsuccessful. Same Danny Glover in this bad character was perfectly hilarious sometimes particulary in his love with Oprah, it was very funny and there the spectator can see the touching personnality of his bad character.


  9. Dear readers, it's now the end of my view and I hope that you appreciate because it was a pleasure to write it for you. Why ? Because secretly, I've got the hope that you go right now to see this movie because it's not only a movie but a masterpiece of the cinema. Some people put this film on the cathegory of « the classics » but they don't have totaly reason because it's not just a classic but a must. You know guys, the thing that if you never look at it before, (sorry i'm very hard in my words but I need to be honnest with you it's for your good) go quickly to hang yourself ! Sometimes a suicide is better than the shame, somewhere it save life.


    It's a joke of course ! Just go to see the film and congratulations to the actors and the film director because the movie was just fantastic !
