Croatia has been a country of Europe since 2013. This country has been independent since June 1991 and was part of Yugoslavia. It has more than 4 105 000 inhabitants who speak croatian and the money is the Kuna. It has an area of 56 594 km² including 31 000 km² of water and a form of a horseshoe. Its landscapes are mainly made of water in lakes and mountains along the coast of the Adriatic Sea with several climates. There are a lot of islands in this sea. Crotia has the same time zone than France.

Zagreb is the capital of Croatia and Split is the 3rd biggest city of this country.

 

Split is a seaside town which has around 167 100 inhabitants living in an area of 63km². There are a lot of tourists in summer who visit famous monuments like Diocletian’s Palace and St Domnius’ cathedral.

The harbor of Split was founded by the Greeks in the 4th century. 5 million passengers and 18 000 ships visit the port every year. The harbor of Split is the 3rd biggest port of the Mediterranean Sea.
