I think that everybody has the right to have one opinion. Everybody has the right to say that he wants.
I think his opinion of the English may be too shallow, because I'm sure there are some English people out there who woukd be really nice and friendly to him. It's also kind of discriminating, in my opinion, to think that way about a whole group of people.
He doesn't like English people,maybe English people don't like Welsh people as well.
I don't really undersatand why people have hatred for people from the same country... I think hating people just because they are English is not the smartest thing to do.
I think it's weird because Wales belong to the UK , and for me England , Northern Ireland , Scotland and Wales are like a big family so if someone call a Welsh " English " it is not grave. But everyone has his own opinion ( sorry for my faults )
I'm French so I don't have comparison in my country, but I can understand that a sort of hatred can born in your mind. Because of the past of both your countries and because of the place that England takes in the world which is much higher than yours. But you can't mean to don't know that English people brought a lot of novelties in your country as much as you brought novelties to them. So I think that you can't just say that you don't like them.
I do not think that all the English people and the Welsh people are like that, I do not really understand why people hate people from the same country. But everyone has the right to say what he thinks.
I think it's a bit weird because they are very close but the Welsh hate the English.But I also think that everyone thinks what he wants and that all the Welsh do not hate the English but only a minority of the population
Oh my gosh ! What is that ? This guy is clearly generalizing the North welsh population . Maybe he met very offensive/injuring people , because I don’t think that all the person (in the north of Wales ) are like that . If so perhaps, this kind of people (the injuring person ) are very ... stupid , I think these kinds of person back up on stereotypes and I can’t bear that! And I just want to add something , I’m not English or Welsh so I cannot really imagine this kind of discrimination between these two country . Stranger , like me imagine that in every country Life is beautiful and there is no conflict between two population but unfortunately in fact there is . :)

I understand his opinion because I don't like the english people too. But they are part of the same countrie so they have to support each other and I think he doesn't have a really reasons to dislike them
Well, I can understand when some people don't like a country for its policy but I can't understand why some people have a hatred for the inhabitants of a specific country. Indeed, everyone is different and you can't judge someone if you don't know him. Maybe you don't like the customs of that country or perhaps you have seen something on the media about this country that you didn't like but that doesn't mean that you will not find someone that you will appreciate. Prejudices are not necessarily true.
I partially agree with Thomas. I would just add that everyone has the right to say what that he wants but as long as that isn't agressive for the others
I think that every body can have an opinion and say what he think but i think also that his opinion is not true in all situations because not every welsh dislike all english
I think it's stupid to be detested while thery are Both part of the uk and there is no bof reason to hate each other
