I) Type of document:

  • What is it?
  • Who is it from?
  • When was it made? When does it take place?

 

II) What do you see?

  • Describe the document. Use the correct vocabulary seen in class to describe a picture (in the background, on the left...).
  • If there are people, be more precise. How many? What are they wearing? Are they sitting? ...

 

III) What does it represent?

  • Give details and explain the document.
  • What does the document represent? What does it mean?
  • If there are people, can you guess what they are feeling?
  • If it takes place during an important time, explain what was happening.

 

And finally, PRACTICE! Pick a picture we've studied in class, and try to remember what we talked about!
