Summer Holidays
Amélie talks about her holidays:
Dear William,
For my last summer holidays, I went to the seaside, in Port Leucate, in the south of France, last august. I stayed one week, with my family in a resort. There were a swimming-pool and a beach.
In the mornings, I went to the beach, I swam in the sea, I sunbathed and I made sandcastles with my sister and my brother. It was cool. At lunch time, I ate local food in a restaurant. It was delicious! In the afternoons, I swam in the swimming-pool with my family because at the beach, there were too many people! In the evenings, I walked around the city and I ate an ice cream or I drank smoothies at the harbor. I visited three cities with my family: Perpignan, Carcasonne and Narbonne. The landscapes were beautiful and I took many pictures. I bought many souvenirs too: food, postcards, magnets, jewels, key rings… The last day, I went to the treetop adventure park. It was wonderful! It was sunny and windy and it never rained! My vacations were fantastic! And what about you? Where did you go for the last summer holidays? When did you leave? Who did you go with? How long did you stay? How did you go there? Where did you stay?
Good bye William!
